Undercover Picks is a small pick'em site and app for private leagues of friends. It is run by one person, not a company, and it collects only what it needs to run the games.

What we store

• Your account: email address, username, display name and a password hash. If you sign in with Google, we store the email and name Google shares. We never see your Google password.
• Your picks and results: the teams and players you choose, when you chose them, and how they scored.
• League membership: which leagues you are in and who invited you.
• Optional profile items: an avatar you upload or link, your theme choice, and your notification settings.
• Notification registrations: if you turn on notifications, a device token for your phone or browser so we can deliver them. Turn them off on your profile and the token is deleted.
• Passkeys: if you add one, the public half of the key. The private half never leaves your device.
• Basic usage: when you last visited, which browser or app you used, and rough counts of which features are used, so the site can be improved.

What we do not do

• No advertising, no ad networks, no trackers.
• No selling or sharing of your data with anyone.
• No location tracking, no contacts, no access to your photos beyond an avatar you choose to upload.

Who can see what

Members of your league can see your display name, avatar, picks once a week is revealed, and standings. Nobody outside your league can see them. Your email address is never shown to other players.

Services we rely on

• Google for optional Google sign-in and for delivering notifications to the Android app (Firebase Cloud Messaging).
• Gravatar if you have one, to suggest a profile picture from your email.
• ESPN for public NFL schedules, scores and rosters. Nothing about you is sent there.

Email

We send email only when it is about your account or your picks: sign-in links, password resets, league confirmations, and pick reminders if you have no phone registered for notifications. There is no newsletter.

Deleting your account

Delete it yourself from the bottom of your profile, on the website or in the app. Your account, picks and registrations are removed immediately. If you cannot sign in, email games@undercoverpicks.com from your account's address. See how to delete your account.

Children

Undercover Picks is for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
